About

I love the quote from Albert Einstein about seemingly unrelated subjects being “branches of the same tree.” I think it is not only appropriate to the field of art conservation, which draws from art, science, and history; but also serves as a reflection of life and community. This blog is a place for me to post about my travels, my projects, and generally anything that interests me…the branches of my tree.

I am currently a grad student in the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. This summer I’m in Juneau, Alaska to intern at the Alaska State Museum for my first summer work project. As I learn about the projects I’ll be working on, I will update them here.

This is the first time in 12 years that I’ve been away from my husband for more than a week…which means I’m going to have to learn how to cook. Tips & suggestions for easy, gluten-free cooking are welcome!!
